IAN HUTCHEON BECOMES +3 AT AGE OF 65!
WINS EAST SENIORS BY 13 STROKES

What a man Ian Hutcheon is! The older he gets, the better he gets.
Playing over his home course at Monifieth, Ian won the East of Scotland Seniors Open - part of the new Scottish Senior Golfers Society circuit of events - by THIRTEEN strokes with two rounds of 66 for 132.
That has promoted Ian from being a +2 golfer to +3. Amazing at the age of 65. There is hope for us all yet.
It's a remarkable fact that Hutcheon's 132 total would have led the Open qualifying at Monifieth.
He has a 100 % success record on the new Scottish seniors' circuit - played three, won three.
David Miller (Kilmarnock Barassie) was runner-up at Monifieth on 145 with scores of 70 and 75.
Jim Watt (Letham Grange) finished third on 147, made up of a 70 and a 77.
Roy Smethurst, no stranger to senior events in Scotland, came up from Crewe and finished joint fourth on 148.
