STEVEN GRAY STRIKES AGAIN TO WIN CLOBER
PRO-AM WITH 63

Hayston Golf Club professional Stephen Gray won the Clober Golf Club pro-am on Saturday – his second victory on the Tartan Tour in eight days – with a three-under-par round of 63.
Gray won the £1,065 top prize by one shot from Fraser McLaughlan (Bothwell Castle) whose 64 earned him £851.
Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs), Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) and Mark Loftus) shared third place on 65, each receiving £500.
Scottish PGA champion Dean Robertson (unattached) led the Martin White amateur trio of Matthew Shirkie (handicap 13), Steven Lyle (18) and Douglas Watson (13) to victory in the team event with a net two-ball score of 114.
