MARTIN LAIRD SIX SHOTS BEHIND NATIONWIDE TOUR EVENT
JOINT LEADERS IN OHIO
Former Scottish youths champion Martin Laird from Glasgow dropped 10 places from joint ninth overnight after a third round of one-over-par 72 in the Nationwide Tour's Legend Financial Group Classic at Stonewater Golf Club, Highland Heights in Ohio today.
Laird's earlier rounds were 67 and 68.
Now on six-under-par 207, Laird is six shots behind the joint leaders, David McKenzie and Jason Day.
Laird, pictured right, who has won an event on the Nationwide Tour this season, is currently 14th on the No 2 American pro circuit money table with earnings of $126,250 from 13 events.
