RITCHIE PIPS LINDSAY, BISSET FOR
ALEX FOX TROPHY AT SCOTTISH
GOLF WRITERS’ CHAMPIONSHIP

Bryce Ritchie (Bunkered Magazine) pipped Matthew Lindsay (Glasgow Evening Times) and Fergus Bisset (Golf Monthly) for the Alex Fox Trophy in the Scottish Golf Writers’ Championship at Dundonald Links today.
Bryce, playing off 11 of a handicap, scored 34 Stableford points, one more than two-handicapper Matthew and Fergus who plays off three.
Matthew’s better inward half of 16pt won him Class 1 from Fergus (inward half 14pt).
The Bunkered Guests’ Trophy was won for a second time by Scottish PGA tournament director Hugh Malcolm. He scored 35pt off seven of a handicap.
Ian Hutcheon (Monifieth), recent winner of the Scottish senior amateur title for a third time and still playing off +2 at the age of 65, was runner-up in the guests’ section with 33pt and also presented the prizes, the bulk of which were generously provided by Callaway Europe and Bunkered Magazine.
