MONTY IN DANGER OF MISSING THE
CUT IN EURO TOUR EVENT IN AUSTRIA

Just when Colin Montgomerie had got his game back on song for next week's US Open, he falls off his perch again with a two-over-par 73 in the first round of this week's European Tour event, the BA-CA Golf Open presented by Telekom Austria at Fontana Golf Club.
Over a par-71 lay-out, the general scoring was low - Graeme Storm is the leader with an eight-under 63 and he has only one shot of an advantage.
Monty is back in joint 101st place and he will need a score that improves his position by a good 40 positions to survive the halfway cut on Friday evening.
