TWO-OVER-PAR 72 AND MARTIN LAIRD
DROPS FROM JOINT NINTH TO JOINT
38th IN FORT SMITH CLASSIC

So low is the scoring in this week's US Nationwide Tour - the Fort Smith Classic at Hardscrabble Country Club in Arkansas - that Martin Laird dropped like a stone from joint ninth overnight to joint 38th at the end of the third round.
All because he had a two-over-par round of 72 after earlier efforts of 66 and 67.
The Scot from Glasgow birdied the sixth but shed shots at the seventh, 12th and 14th.
He is now on five-under-par 205, 10 shots behind the leader, Justin Bolli with 69, 63 and 63 for 195.
Ron Whittaker and Canadian John Mills are joint second on 198.
Looks like Martin is not going to add many dollars to his impressive total so far this season.
