So maybe the pressure does get to Tiger Woods now and again ... but in the Wachovia Championship?
The great man bogeyed the last two holes (and he had to hole a seven-footer at the last!) in the third round at Quail Hollow Country Club, Charlotte in North Carolina for a 68 and a 54-hole tally of 10-under-par 206, which puts him one shot behind the leader, Rory Sabbatini.
The South African, driving the ball around the 297yd mark and averaging 1.6putts per green, broke the course record with a bogey-free 64 for 11-under-par 205.
Sharing second place with Tiger are Vijay Singh (69) and Arron Oberholser (69).
One-time tournament leader Paddy Harrington is in free fall, currently in a share of 74th place.
The Irishman's rounds have been 66, 75 and 79 for a running or should that be a plummeting total of 220.
