JAMIESON’S STEADY START TO
PRO CAREER ON US
SATELLITE CIRCUIT

Glasgow’s Scott Jamieson has earned close on $5,000 from his first three outings on the NGA Hooters Tour in the United States.
Scott, 23, pictured right, turned professional late last year after topping the Scottish Golf Union Order of Merit in his final season as an amateur.
He missed the cut in his second competition but finished joint 22nd on his debut and again in the weekend event, the Savannah Lakes Resort Classic at Monticello Golf Club, McCormick in South Carolina.
His pay check after rounds of 67, 75, 69 and 71 for a seven-under-par total of 281 was $2,065.
American Mike Connell won the top prize of £33,566 with scorfes of 70, 67, 70 and 64 for 17-under 271.
Ulsterman Gareth Maybin from Ballyclare collected $6,790 for joint fifth place on 276 (72-33-70-68).
Edinburgh exile David Kirkpatrick, based at Lakeland, Florida for several years, tied for 35th place on 285 (70-74-71-70) and earned $1,449.
