MEGAN BEATS DONNA AGAIN TO REACH
FINAL OF RENFREWSHIRE CHAMPIONSHIP
Renfrewshire women's county title-holder Megan Briggs, 17, from Kilmacolm beat 10 times champion Donna Jackson (Cochrane Castle) for the second year in a row.
Last year, it was in the final. Today, at Erskine Golf Club, it was in the first semi-finao with Megan winning by 4 and 3.
Winner of the other semi-final was another former champion, Clare-Marie Carlton (Fereneze). She beat Gillian Kyle (East Renfrewshire) by 3 and 1.
So the final will be between the No 3 qualifier (Gillian) and the No 4 qualifier, Megan.
