ABERDONIAN SIM LYING JT

Aberdonian Michael Sim was lying joint 11th going into the final round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans – his first US PGA Tour outing of the year following a lay-off since last year with a stress fracture in his lower back.
Sim, pictured right, who emigrated with his parents to Australia when he was seven, has had rounds of 71, 69 and 70 for a six-under-par tally of 210 over the TPC Louisiana course at Avondale.
Michael has had nine birdies and three bogeys so far. He birdied the second, seventh, 11th and 12th and dropped shots at the first and sixth in his third round.

Sim holds dual nationality – British and Australian. His parents are making a holiday trip home to Aberdeen in May.
