Kings Links tour pro Scott Henderson matched the par of 71 in the first round of the European Challenge Tour event at Bogota Country Club - the Colombia Masters.
But fellow Scots George Murray and Peter Whiteford, both from Fife, could do no better than 75 and 78 respectively.
Alejandro Villavicencio (Guatemala) leads the field with a six-under 65.
Henderson, pictured right, birdied the sxith, eighth and 13th and had bogeys at the first, ninth and 15th in halves of 35 and 36 to shared 29th place with some competitors still to finish.
Murray had to wait until the 18th for his first birdie of the day, having bogeyed the second, sixth, seventh, 10th and 14th in halves of 38 and 37.
Whiteford had two birdies, at the fourth and 18th in halves of 38 and 40.
He had a double bogey 7 at the long eighth and bogeys at the second, fifth, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th and 14th.
