IN PHILIPPINE OPEN
It was not a good day for the Scots in the first round of the Philippine Open at the quaintly-named Wack Wack Golf & Country Club, Manila today.
Ross Bain did best of the three with a one-over-par 73 (37-36).
Barry Hume toiled for a 75 (38-37) with birdies at the fourth and 16th but shots dropped at the first, second, fifth, 10th and 11th.
Simon Dunn ran up a double-bogey 6 at the 13th in halves of 38 for a 76.
Six players, including American amateur Jay Bayron set the pace at four-under-par 68.
