GORDON MORRISON'S 70 BEST
IN NORTH SCOTTISH
ALLIANCE AT MORAY NEW

A big field of 107 competitors found the Moray New Course a challenging proposition in Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Lossiemouth.
The par of 69 was not broken by gross or net scores.
Scratch winner Gordon Morrison, a professional who is a member at Fortrose & Rosemarkie, carded one birdie and two bogeys in a one-over-round of 70. He won by one stroke from two players.
Handicap Class 1 winner Mike Mann from the Moray club was the only player to record a net score below 70. He had a net 69 off five of a handicap.
Andy Briggs from Inverness won Class 2 with a net 73 off 11.
