FRANKIE IS HOME WINNER IN
PHILIPPINE OPEN

Filipino legend Frankie Minoza enjoyed a memorable two-stroke triumph when he lifted his second Philippine Open title on Sunday.
The 47-year-old Minoza, who had previously won the event back in 1998, romped home to a one-under-par 71 for a total of 10-under-par 278.
He finished two strokes ahead of former winner Gerald Rosales, who closed with a 65, to take the top prize of US$47,550 at the Wack Wack Golf & Country Club, Manila..
China’s Liang Wen-chong struggled with his putting as he scored a 75 and finished five strokes adrift in third place for a 283 total.
Ex-pat Scots Ross Bain (294) and Simon Dunn (298) finished joint 36th and joint 60th respectively.
