SCOTTISH YOUTHS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
The shock retirement of hot favourite Scott Henry (Cardross) after eight holes of the opening round has left the Scottish youths open golf championship wide open going into the final two rounds at Mortonhall Golf Club, Edinburgh on Sunday.
Spaniard Francisco Pintor, with rounds of 69 and 73 for two-under-par 142 was the halfway leader in the clubhouse with first-round joint leaders Michael Main (Thornton) and Steven McEwan (Kilmarnock Barassie) – both on four-under-68 – still to finish.
