LEE IN TOP 20 IN LOUISIANA

 

Lee Rhind from Livingston was lying joint 16^th at the halfway stage of the Stonebridge Open – the latest event on the Tight Lies Tour – at Bossier City, Louisiana.

Rhind, a winner on the EuroPro Tour last year and a former Scottish boys’ open stroke-play champion, has had rounds of 71 and 69 for a four-under-par tally of 140.

The 27-year-old is seven shots behind leader Casey Yates who has had 68 and 65 for 11-under 133.

Rhind won the $14,000 first prize in the previous week’s event, the Lake Charles Open, and has won $20,262 in five events on the US satellite circuit.

Lee is based in Midland, Texas for the summer.
