DOUGLAS PARK GOLF CLUB PRO-AM

 GRAND PERFORMANCE BY RONALD

 

Craig Ronald (Carluke) won himself £1,056 with a five-under-par round of 64 to win the Douglas Park Golf Club pro-am top individual prize today.

Ronald had an eagle at the 10^th and birdies at the first, 12^th, 13^th and 18^th with only one bogey, at the ninth, in halves of 34 (level par) and 30 (five under par).

John Greaves (Glasgow) was runner-up on 66 with Sam Cairns (Westerwood) and Murray Urquhart (Inverness) sharing third place on 67.

David Park (Wishaw) lead the team of Bob Phinn (8), Malcolm Laverock (10) and Steven Marlow (13) to victory in the pro-am secti9on with a net total of 123.

The tournament was in aid of East Park Home for Infirm Children.
