Calum Scott has an opening 76 in European Young Masters
Nairn's 14-year-old prospect Calum Scott had a score of 76 in the first round of the European Young Masters boys championship at Hauger Golf Club, Norway today.
That four-over-par round placed him in a share of 24th place, 10 shots behind the leader by four, Portugal's Pedro Cruz Silva.
Aidan O'Hagan, a past winner of the Scottish schoolboys title, was T32 overnight after a 77.
In the girls' championship, Hannah Darling (Broomieknowe) had a 77 for a share of 20th place behind the joint leaders on 70.
Carmen Griffiths (Aboyne), one of the late starters, had still complete her round at the time of writing.
