Inverness 2 win North District Club Team


Championship at Golspie


Inverness Golf Club No 2 team, represented by Cameron Franssen (73-71), Jonathon Keith (72-74) and Kieran Mackay (80-71), won the North District Club Team Championship at Golspie Golf Club today.
They finished one shot ahead of runners-up Nairn (Fraser Fotheringham (70-69), Finlay Asher (73-76) and Jamie MacKintosh (80-76) with Inverness 1 (John Forbes 71-70, David Joel 80-74, Bruce Thomson 76-75) third on 291.
The winning Inverness trio go forward to the Scottish final at Eastwood Golf Club on September 24.
