WHAMMY BY LACHLAN REYNOLDS
It was a double victory for Hilton Park’s Lachlan Reynolds who won Friday’s stroke-play championship at Balmore Golf Club with a 36-hole total of 147 (74-73) and then went on to win the match-play championship by defeating Clydebank and District’s Kyle Murphy by 6 and 5 in Sunday’s final.
Lachlan is pictured receiving the Matchplay Trophy from DGU President Alan Bell.
The 18-hole handicap competition was won by Jordan Smith (Clydebank and District) with a net score of 64 (80-16).
