Chris Robb's top 10 finish earns him 790


euros in Germany

Banchory's Chris Robb (Meldrum House) earned 790 euros for a T8 finish in the Pro Golf Tour's Sparkassen Open at Bochum Golf Club in Germany.

The former Scottish amateur champion, pictured, had rounds of 67, 69 and 64 for a 16-under-par total of 200.
Winner of the 5,000 euros first prize was Germany's Hinrich Arkenau who had scores of 59, 65 and 68 for 24-under-par total of 192 - one shot better than the English runner-up, Ben Parker (64-67-62).
Professional's son Parker earned 3,000 euros.
Paul Lawrie Golf Centre pair Kevin Duncan (73-66-69) and Sam Kiloh (68-69-71) tied for 29th plac3e on 208 and earned 343 euros apiece.
Peterhead's Philip McLean, the last of the Scots to make the cut, earned 210 euros for a T43 finish on 214 with rounds of 71, 70 and 73.
