Justin Rose coming home for the BMW
PGA Championship
NEWS RELEASE
Olympic champion Justin Rose will make his first appearance on home soil since claiming the gold medal in Rio when he tees it up in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club from May 25-28 - the first tournament in the European Tour’s new Rolex Series.
Rose, who campaigns on the US PGA Tour, became the first Englishman to win the US Open for 43 years when he triumphed at Merion in 2013 and he made history again last August when he marked golf’s return to the Olympic Games after a 112 year absence with a two-shot victory over Open champion and Ryder Cup team-mate Henrik Stenson in Brazil.
