Blairgowrie's Douglas Cleeton moving to Bruntsfield Links
By GORDON BANNERMAN
Current and former Blairgowrie Golf Club captains attended a lunch to bid farewell to departing managing secretary Douglas Cleeton.
After seven years at the helm of the Perthshire club, which included the 2014 Junior Ryder Cup, Abernethy-based Douglas is taking up a chief executive officer post at Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society, the fourth oldest golf club in the world.
The men's captains from his time at the helm were joined by lady captains who worked in tandem with Douglas.
