JENNIFER BRYANS FOILS SHEENA WOOD BID TO WIN VETS' TITLE TWO YEARS IN A ROW

Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies and North) failed in her bid to win the Scottish Veteran Ladies Golf Association match-play championship for the second year in a row - but she went as far as the final again before losing over the Blairgowrie Lansdowne course this afternoon.

Sheena was beaten 4 and 2 by the East of Scotland Vets' champion Jennifer Bryans (Harburn) in the final.
In this morning's semi-finals, Sheena beat Gillian Kyle (West) at the 20th while Jennifer beat Fiona Hunter (Galloway) 3 and 2 in the other semi-final.
