Four former Aberdeen Links championships have reached the semi-finals of this year's tournament and Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord), seeking a record-equalling fifth title win, is one of them.

Four former Aberdeen Links championships have reached the semi-finals of this year's tournament and Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord), seeking a record-equalling fifth title win, is one of them.
He beat Bon Accord clubmate Graeme Michell 4 and 3 in tonight's quarter-finals.
On Wednesday, defending champion Edmond will be play Northern's Ronnie Evett who beat Scott Allan by one hole.
The other semi-final on Wednesday evening will feature Caledonian clubmates Barry Reid and Alex Cruickshank.

Reid overpowered Matthew Dunn (Bon Accord) by 7 and 5 while Cruichank was a 3 and 2 winner against Caledonian clubmate Alan Doig.
