Five former champions in last eight of 

Aberdeen Links championship

 There are five former Aberdeen Links scratch champions in the line-up for Monday's quarter-finals - title-holder Barrie Edmond, bidding for record-equalling fifth title, Ronnie Evett, Barry Reid, Alex Cruickshank and Alan Doig.
Edmond's opponent in the round of the last eight is Bon Accord clubmate Graeme Mitchell whose late father was champion in 1982 and beaten finalist in 1989 and 1997.
Monday's quarter-finals in the three competitions which make up the Aberdeen Links championship programme are:
