Kirkcudbrightshire stroke-play championship
Nathan Watson is presented with the trophy by Jean Forrest, President of the Kirkcudbright Golfers' Association.
Nathan Watson (Kirkcudbright) scored a magnificent 66 to win the Kirkcudbright stroke-play championship at Castle Douglas for the first time.
Runner-up was Angus Bendall (Castle Douglas) with a 68 and Stuart Findlay came third with a 69, pushing his brother into fourth place with a 70 respectively.

The handicap prize was won by Bryan Kirkpatrick (Castle Douglas) with
a terrific net score of 63 off a handicap of nine.
The course at Castle Douglas
played well and the summer conditions made the day a great success.
The championship brings together all the top golfers
from the Stewartry and this year the entry was up on the previous years.
The
top eight in the stroke-play championship now go on to play for the match-play championship.
