CLINCH TITLE AT NORTH BERWICK
Scotland beat title-holders England 5 1/2-3 1/2 to clinch overall victory in the Senior Men's Home Internationals at North Berwick Golf Club today.
The Scots had earlier beaten Ireland and Wales.
Only singles matches were played in the final day's programme due to the forecast of more fog which had halted play on Wednesday afternoon.
Scotland won four and England two of the six closing singles.
Ireland, who beat Wales 5-4, finished runners-up with two wins. England were third with one win and Wales last with no victories.
