When the World Golf Hall of Fame returns from its brief hiatus, it will take its induction ceremonies on the road.
Having decided to go from an annual election of members to every other-year, thus skipping a Class of 2014, WGHOF officials have announced that the 2015 induction ceremonies will be held July 13 at St. Andrews, the Monday of Open Championship week. The Class of 2015 will be announced later this year.
In 2019, the ceremonies will be held at Pebble Beach during the week of the U.S. Open. As for 2017, that induction will be held at the World Golf Hall of Fame at World Golf Village in St Augustine, Florida.
St Andrews, St Augustine, Pebble Beach.
Not exactly the Big Three of iconic golf locales, but two out of three ain’t bad.
