NORTH-EAST BOYS' NARROW WIN

 OVER NORTH AT LOSSIEMOUTH

North-east beat North by eight shots in a closely-contested stroke-play boys' inter-district golf  match at wet and windy Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth today.
North-east edged into a six-stroke aggregate lead at the end of the morning foursomes.
The afternoon singles were even closer with North-east finishing only two strokes ahead.
Overall North-east beat North 897 to 905.
