Troon's Michael Stewart achieved his best finish since he turned pro when he finished fourth today (Saturday) in the Alps Tour 54-hole event in southern Spain, the Alps de Andalucia at Real Golf Guadalamina.
The former Walker Cup player, who has had a disappointing time since he turned pro, strung together rounds of 69, 69 and 65 for a 13-under-par total of 203.
Stewart, who earned 2,500 Euros, finished three shots behind the Spanish winner, Borja Etchart (68-67-65 for 10-under 200).
