SKINNS, GUNN, SIM AND OWN ON SIDELINES AT MIDWEST CLASSIC


BRITS MISS CUT ON WEB.COM TOUR

All four Brits in the Web.com Tour's Midwest Classic - David Skinns, Jimmy Gunn, Michael Sim and Greg Owen - failed to make the cut at 141 and better at Nicklaus Golf Club, Lionsgate, Overland Park in Kansas.
Skinns got the closest. He was only one shot over the limit with scores of 73 and 69 for 142.
Highland Gunn improved by five but still missed out by four with rounds of 75 and 70.
Also on the 145 mark was Aberdeen-born, Aussie-raised Michael Sim, making a comeback after two years on the sidelines for one reason or another. Michael shot 73-72.
Greg Owen had a pair of 73s for 146.
At the other end of the scoreboard, Americans are in the 1-2-3 positions.
Zack Suker leads with 13-under-par 129 (66-63) - two ahead of |Jason Gore (68-68) and three in front of Aaron Watkins (67-65) for 132.
