SCOTS PAIR FINISH JOINT THIRD IN
PGA SUPER-60s TOURNAMENT

Retired Scottish professional Jack Steven and amateur partner John Telfer finished joint third in the PGA Super-60s tournament at Forest Pines Golf & Country Club Hotel, Lincolnshire today.
Steven, who earned £725, and Telfer scored 71 and 66 for 137, four shots behind the winners, professional John Lower and amateur Stuart Belcher, both from Wollaton Park in the Midlands. Lower received £1,250 for the partnerships scores of 66 and 67 for 13-under-par 133 and a three-shot victory over the 6,434yd, par-73 course. Boyce Hill pair Graham Burroughs and Peter Keeble were second on 10 under par 136.
