Jamieson goes off the boil
on Hooters Tour

Scott Jamieson from Glasgow slumped from an overnight share of 19th place to a final position of joint 37th in the Touchstone Energy Open, the latest event on the US Hooters Tour, at Brock Valley Country Club, Greenville in North Carolina.
Jamieson had rounds of 69, 71, 73 and 75 for a level par total of 288 over the 6,821yd, par-72 course. He earned $1319 for finishing nine shots behind the winner of the $33,566 top prize, rookie pro Josh Thompson from Indianapolis with scores of 68, 68, 71 and 72 for nine-under 279.
David Skinns from Lincoln finished joint 16th on 285 for $2203 and Scott Jackson from Stockport earned $1757 for a joint 26th place finish on 286.
Niall Turner from Cork tied for 45th place on 290 and earned $1138.
