Former Walker Cup player Lorne Kelly has "neglected" his golf in recent years to devote his time to making ProDreamUSA work - it helps teenagers find golfing colleges in the States and vice versa.
But the Cowal man, pictured above, can still play good golf - even in the bitterly cold conditions. He finished joint 11th in the PGA EuroPro Tour Final Qualifying School at Frilford Heath, Oxfordshire with rounds of 72, 74 and 70 for a three-over-par total of 216.
Lorne was the top Scot and his high finish means he will get into every 2008 PGA EuroPro Tour season event if he so desires.
Graeme Brown from Montrose finished joint 62nd with 71, 75 and 76 for 222.
Former Scottish amateur champion Barry Hume from Haggs Castle shot 74, 74 and 74 for 223, finishing joint 67th on that mark with Tartan Tour player Callum Nicoll (Prestwick) who scores 73, 76 and 74.
Aberdonian Neil Mitchell (Murcar Links) came joint 77th on 224 with 72, 76 and 76.
Craigielaw amateur Mark Kerr shot 70, 79 and 76 for a share of 83rd place on 225.
Steven Mackie (Dunnikier Park) came joint 94th of the 126 qualifiers with 74, 74 and 78 for 226.
Former Walker Cup player John Parry (Harrogate Golf Club) topped the Final Q School with scores of 69, 66 and 74 for four-under-par 209 over the par-71 track.
He had a double bogey at the first hole and dropped at shot at the 17th but was able to win by a shot from Jamie Moul (Stoke by Nayland), a former R&A World Amateur Rankings No 1. Moul bogeyed the 13th and 14th.
