ALEX SALMOND ON WINNING TEAM AT INSCH

Alex Salmond took time off his First Minister duties today to show that as an 18-handicap golfer he can be a winner too!
Alex was playing in the Tartan Tour's Acergy Young Professionals' pro-am at Insch Golf Club.He was a member of the "Clariant" team, which also included two 14-handicappers, Raymond Stirton and Dave Glasgow and had David Pocock (Pine Lodge Golf Centre) as its pro, who won the pro-am team event with a two-ball net score of 17-under-par 121.
The leading young professional was Scott Grieve (Kings Acre) who won the £750 top prize with a one-over-par 70 in very windy conditions.
