England edge out Scots 4-3 in European 

men's semi-finals

England beat Scotland 4-3 and Sweden thrashed Denmark 6-1 in today's semi-finals of the European men's amateur team championship in iSweden.

Scottish names first
Sandy Scott and James Wilson lost 3 and 2 to Tim Sloman and Tom Plumb.
Euan McIntosh and Euan Walker lost by 2 holes to Alex Fitzpatrick and Matty Lamh.
Scott bt Sloman 6 and 4.
Walker bt Fitzpatrick 1 hole
Wilson lost to Plumb 3 and 2
J Stewart lost to Harry Hall 3 and 1
R Lumsden bt Ben Jones 3 and 2.

Other men's results: 
Sweden 6, Denmark 1.
Ireland 3, Germany 2
Wales 3.5, Spain 1.5

In the European women's team championship in Italy, Scotland lost 4-3 to Spain while Italy beat Ireland 4-3 in the other semi-final.
