Scots men and women lose in European senior team championships


Scotland's men's team, beaten 4-1 by Ireland in their first match, lost again, 3-2 to Italy, in the European senior men's amateur team golf championship at Diamond Country Club, Austria today (Friday).

Stewart Henderson lost to Gianluca Bolla 1 hole.
Lindsay Blair lost to Marco Bellini 5 and 4.
Kenneth Gallacher lost to Marco de Rossi 3 and 2.

In the European senior women's team championship at Mont Garni, Belgium, Scotland lost 3-2 to Switzerland.
