Penman, Wood, Moffat and Richmond last four

in Scottish Senior Women's match-play

Alex Glennie is not going to pull off a double whammy at this week's Scottish Senior Women's Open Amateur Championships.
The Kilmarnock Barassie player won the stroke-play title over 36 holes at Prestwick St Nicholas earlier in the week but today (Thursday) she lost in the first round of the match-play tournament, beaten 4 and 3 by Fiona de Vries (St Rule).
Friday morning's semi-finals will feature Gullane's Sue Penman, conqueror of De Vries in the quarter-finals, against Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies), and former Scottish champion Elaine Moffat (St Regulus) against Maureen Richmond (Royal Liverpool).
