Robson has to fight for one-hole win over


Turriff rival at Alyth

Leading qualifier and top seed, Nick Robson (Meldrum House), had to fight all the way before beating Albert Smith (Turriff) by one hole in the second round of the Scottish Seniors' match-play championship in excellent conditions at Alyth Golf Club today.
Robert Smith (Nairn) and Lindsay Blair (Grangemouth) had a very close match, with Robert coming out on top by one hole.
In the Super Seniors event Andrew Laird (Deeside) will play Peter
Kinloch (Cardross) in tomorrow's final.
