Adam Fisher from Aberdeen, a student at the University of Missouri, finished second with a 12-under-par total of 274 in the Boyd Quaich international students' golf tournament over the Old and New courses at St Andrews.
Fisher had rounds of 68, 70, 68 and 68. His final round, over the Old Course, saw him cover the last 14 holes in five under par. He had only two bogeys over the last 36 holes.

Fisher finished nine strokes behind the runaway winner, Irish international Eoin Leonard, a student at Yale University. His total of 21-under-par 265 (67-67-66-65) is a record for the tournament.
Scots filled the second, third and fourth places.
Fisher finished four strokes ahead of the third-placed James Wilson (Stirling) 278 with Duncan McNeill from Annan, a student a McNeese State, in fourth place on 279, after birdieing the 17th and 18th holes on the Old Course for a six-under 66 closing round.
In any other year but this one, Fisher's total would have been good enough to win the Boyd Quaich!
Defending champion George Burns (St Andrews) finished ninth on 283 with scores of 70, 68, 75 and 70.
Jack Harling from Banchory, a student at the Highlands and Islands University, finished 17th despite a triple bogey 7 at the Road Hole 17th in his final round of 73 for 289.
