Scots men beat Norway, aiming for fifth place finish in European team championship

Deposed title-holders Scotland took a step nearer a fifth place finish in the European men's amateur team championship when they beat Norway 3.5-1.5 at Diamond Country Club, Austria.
England will play Spain  in Saturday's final.


SCOTLAND 3.5, NORWAY 1.5

R MacIntyre bt J Volden 2 holes.
L Johnston halved with M Braadlie.
C Howie bt K Reitan 2 and 1.
C Sume bt V Hovland 1 hole.


WOMEN
The European women's team championship final at Montado Golf Resort on the Algarve will be contest by England and Italy.
In a Flight B match, Scotland lost 3-2 to Austria

BOYS
The European boys' team championship final at La Manga, Spa will be between Spain and Denmark.
Scotland beat Slovenia 5-0 in a Flight B match.

Italy beat England 4.5-2.5 in the semi-finals and will play Sweden in the final of the European girls' team championship in Finland.
Scotland beat Switzerland 3-2 in a Flight B match.
