SCOTS SHARING THIRD PLACE


Scots Craig Lawrie, Grant Forrest and Ewen Ferguson all shot four-under-par 68s to share third place overnight after the first round of the Portugal Pro Tour's Royal Obidos Classic at Royal Obidos Golf Club.

They are one stroke behind the joint leaders, Max Albertus (Netherlands) and Portugal's Carlos del Moral.

Paul Lawrie is in joint seventh place with a 69 and Wallace Booth is T18 on 71.

The competition is over 36 holes.
