Portlethen student makes top 10 in New Mexico

Ben Murray from Portlethen, a student at Midland Community College, Texas, finished joint 10th in a field of 42 players at the New Mexico Junior College Thunderbird Invitational at the Rockwind Community Links this week.

Over a par 72 course of 7,103yd, Murray, pictured, had improving rounds of 76, 74 and 73 for a total of 223 - 12 shots behind the winner by three, Ryan Cox (New Mexico Junior College) with scores of 70, 70 and 71 for 211.
