Lanarkshire teams' mixed fortunes in West of 

Scotland Leagues on Sunday

Lanarkshire A team lost 4.5-3.5 to Ayrshire at a sun-drenched West Kilbride on Sunday with the result in doubt until the last putt of the last match between Fraser Kane Kirkhill and Charlie McNeal of Prestwick with Charlie prevailing. 

The Lanarkshire Youth team fared better with a 5-3 win over Ayrshire at Bothwell Castle.
