Freshman Matt Dalrymple leads King stroke

averages with 73 over nine rounds

Matt Dalrymple from Lochwinnoch, a student at King University, Tennessee, finished T31 in a field of 74 at the TVA Credit Union Invite college tournament over the Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club course (par 72, 7133yd) at Killen, Alabama.
The Scot shot a third-round 76  after earlier scores of 78 and 71 for an aggregate of nine-over 225.
This was the final event in the King University autumn series. Matt leads the Tornadoes' stroke average with 73 over the nine competitive rounds played
His second-round 71 (one under par) at Turtle Point was the lowest round of his college career so far and augurs well for the future.
Team-mate Kesley March finished T40 with 76-74-80 for 230.
Forrest Knight (North Alabama) was the individual winner with scores of 69, 69 and 67 for 11-under-par 205, very good shooting indeed.
Thanks to Knight's effort, North Alabama (854) also won the team event ahead of Colombus State (865) with King (900) eighth of 14 teams.
