Edinburgh-based Cull finishes second at

Kansas City

Robert Cull from Liverpool - who lives in Edinburgh when he is "home" from Missouri Valley University, finished second behind team-mate Kaz Sakai in "The Dominic" college golf tournament at Swope Memorial Golf Club, Kansas City, Missouri earlier this month.
Cull was the first-round leader with a 67 but a second-round 73 for a total of four-under 140 gave Sakai the chance to slip past him for victory with rounds of 69 and 70 for 139.
Another Missouri Valley student, sophomore Max Rogers from Congleton, England, tied for third place with scores of 74 and 70 for 144.
And yet another Missouri Valley student, sophomore Hamish Gorn from Dunfermline tied for 12th pact of 152 with scores of 74 and 78.
Hard to believe that Missouri Valley did not win the team title with three men in the top three or four valleys .. but they did not!
That honour went to Dakota Wesleyan by a single shot - 581 to 582 - with Missouri Valley second, a long way ahead of third-placed Avila with Fontbonne a longer way back in fourth place on 661.
