James Sutherland finishes fifth, Alistair Kyle 

sixth in Ohio's Highland Cup

Davis and Elkins College's roster of UK students were out in force at this week's Ohio Valley Invitational for the Highland Cup at Marietta Country Club, Marietta in Ohio.

James Sutherland, pictured right, a third-year student from Glasgow, finished fifth in a field of 53. He scored 76-74 for 150 - eight behind the winner by four, Zac Gower (Fairmont State) (73-69 for 142 over a par-70 course of 6,241yd.
Alistair Kyle (Davis and Elkins), pictured below, a final year student from Glasgow finished sixth on 151 (76-75).
Team-mates Jack Gibson (77-80 for 157) from Jersey, Fraser Paul (78-79 for 157) from Glasgow, Ben Marshall (84-79 for 163) from Dunstable, Alistair Cameron (81-79 for 260) from
Buckinghamshire and Tony Gibbons (87-84 for 171) from Southend finished T12, T12, T20, 26th  and T37 respectively.
Cameron Pettigrew, a Scot from Skelmorlie, Ayrshire and a freshman student at Ohio Valley University, finished 34th on 169 with scores of 87 and 82.
Davis and Elkins (603) won the team title ahead of Cedarville (608) and Fairmont state (619) in a field of eight teams.
