Neil (64) and Booth (65) go low at Tarragona.

Blairgowrie's Bradley Neil shot one of his lowest rounds as a professional when he returned an eight-under-par 64 today (Friday) to lead the Spanish Evolve Pro Tour's Pre-Q School 54-hole tournament by two shots with a 10-under-par two-round total of 134 at Bonmont Golf Club,Tarragona.

Neil's bogey-free round included eight birdies - at the first, second, seventh, eighth, ninth, 14th, 16th and 18th in halves of 31-33.
The Scot, pictured left, leads by two from joint first-round leaders Welsh amateur David Boot (68-68) and Germany's Christian Braeunig (68-68)
Wallace Booth from Comrie surged up the leaderboard to fifth place with a second-round 65, 11 better than his first-day score, for 141. Booth had halves of 35-30, including an eagle 3 at the 14th and birdies at the fifth, seventh, 13th, 15th, 17th and 18th. 
In contrast to Neil and Booth, Cawder's Jamie Savage had two par rounds of 72 for 144 which leave him in tied eighth place in a field of 20 with one round to go.
