Michael is a chip off the old block - wins Paul 

 Lawrie Junior Jug at Lossiemouth

Michael Lawrie, younger son of Paul and Marian, won the Paul Lawrie Foundation Junior Jug turnament over the Moray Old Course at the weekend.
Deeside Golf Club member Michael had rounds of 77, 71 and 72 for a seven-over-par total of 220.
Joint second on 223 were Aidan Smith and Lewis Reid.
Sam Locke and Kiran Nolan tied for fourth place on 224.
In his final round, Michael Lawrie was out in 38 (four over) but came home in 32 (two under), birdieing 10 and  17 and parring the rest of the holes.


It was windy for Saturday's opening rounds.
The handicap competition was won by Liam Waldron, who plays off five of a handicap at Royal Aberdeen. He had net scores of 70, 72 and 69 for 211.
